It is placed under the patio and holding up well. I bought this in April for grandsons birthday, ages 4. They love it.Simple to assemble, but tricky to put the top on alone, probably a 2 person job. It plays fine, but the vinyl “netting” basket that catches all the balls is so low, you practically have to get into it to pick the balls up to shoot, which defeats the purpose of speed.Good price but took two people two afternoons to put together the tools didn't cut it but had thegood ones, two of the spring locks are in the wrong place and mess the other holes up if you tryto make them work, just don't use them, it's still sturdy.Electronics work really well and netting works, kids love it.I had a neighbor that puts airplanes together it helped no way could I have done it by myselfGot this for my sons 10th birthday but has turned into a gift for all of us. It took my (very handy) husband about an hour to assemble and there was a 6-8 inch crack on the headboard when it arrived. We decided not to worry about it and finish assembling anyway. This thing is so much fun and surpassed my expectations. We even have a scorecard to record highest 30 or 60 second scores since we all play it so much and have gotten competitive with each other! I never thought I would enjoy playing with this but may love it more than my son! Very good quality and durability so far considering the price.Received mine in 1 day, took me about an hour by myself to put it together. Super easy you will need 3 AA batteries. Easy setup, pretty sturdy. Great buy for the price.Wow, this might be the very first time I've been steered wrong by my fellow "Amazonians." I received this from Amazon on time, as expected. I started putting it together and that's where the fun begins... First: the directions listed piece numbers (screws) that did not match the actual packet containing the screws, so something got lost in translation along the way.... I'm guessing directions were printed in the US and the parts were from China. It would say to insert screw #24 (long screw) when it meant screw #25 (shorter screw), but I wouldn't realize this until I got to the part where it needed a longer screw that was already used up earlier in the process. So, then I had to take certain parts out, mind you that it's the base you create first, so then have to drop it again and undo pieces, so very time consuming. This happened on multiple steps, so it just ended up pissing me off, since it would be major in terms of having to take down the backboard again or undo a leg. Next, the two rims aren't aligned, not the biggest deal, but one was slightly lower than the other, but also the rims themselves were slightly warped/uneven... again, not the biggest deal. So after setup was finally done... I started playing with my kids, that's when the new problems start... the velcro strap(s) on the corners at the bottom of the net constantly come undone, so then the balls end up falling off the sides. I've tried multiple ways to secure it, but it doesn't stay too long. The chain "nets" on the rims all broke by the 3rd day of playing. So, obviously those were very cheap metal links. Finally the actual electronic score thing is already acting funky, where the power button doesn't work on it's own and I have to push a few buttons to make it turn on. So, I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this product. Not worth the time or effort. If you have a Costco membership, they have a similar one for a similar price, plus it's an acrylic plastic backboard that looks more realist than this junk. Had I known they had it, I probably would've gotten that one, too bad I saw it afterwards.Large number of pieces in order to assemble and the instructions are not straightforward to interpret. The pin used to hold the game in place once it's collapsed is not easy to get in place.Still a fun game for my young children. They've been using it a week and love playing with their friends.1 the photos are for outdoor use against rainy days if no space is available inside, not sure about snow, you can cover the control panel and the digital display with garbage bags/blue tape as shown. (ours survived a month in some rain during this rain season)2 shop around ; the price can go up and down a lot3 the score sensor is not the fancy arcade "infrared light sensor" and it gets stuck by the hoop net once in a whileI purchased it because the price was right. Delivery was prompt. When I began to put together on Christmas eve I quickly found out why it was inexpensive, one of the rims was bent and the hook for the mesh was totally bent backwards, it was missing an push button clip required to to keep two of the bottom support pieces together and one of the balls doesn't hold air for more than a couple of hours. Couldn't return it as I had it out of the box and half assembled (not to mention it was obviously purchased online which makes returns a very difficult process) when I found these deficiencies so I had to make do and problem solve to fix or it would have been returned or at least had replacement parts. The kids have had some fun but I am not confident regarding how long it will hold up under usage.Looked great for the price, when it came in the stitching on the basketball flooring was not straight so it wouldn't fit into the whole properly and also the backboard was suppose to have 2 holes you can place the board to and they were missing. This made the board very unstable, also after i used it five times the screw broke and the backboard and the backboard is made from cheap material that it ripped a whole in it. I was very disappointed with this product didn't except my money to go to such a waste. Not bad the electric part stopped working after first use the pins and the holes don't line up to make it stay folded have to jimmy rig it up so it doesn't fall on my 4 yr old old my baby who's crawling an using things to pull her self up makes me nervous but other then that it's ok pain in the butt to set up on ur ownOne of the hooks on the rim which holds the net broke less than one day after assembling it. Bad weld. Emailed manufacturer, but have yet to hear anything from them. Broke Christmas Day. Other than that, it seems to be Ok. Kids love it. Expected a little higher quality from a US manufacturer. This purchase was for Christmas we just opened it and it has two left legs and no right. It's not a sturdy structure and we would have had to send it back as the holes for the screws didn't line up. Disappointed, very disappointed
