Beware. Whatever they use to coat the outside gets all sticky after a while . Then your hair can stick to it, and it gets all over your hands. I tried everything to clean it off but nothing worked. Not even goo gone! I think the coating just disintegrates into this goo. I had to throw it out. Lotta money for cheap materials.Does not get hot enough and it pulls out more hair then it straightens.It takes forever for it to heat up and when it finally does, it does NOT get that hot whatsoever. disappointedNo other hair iron can do what Royal can do. Don’t buy cheap, buy quality.I bought this to smooth out my hair. The ridges do not hold the hair. You have to hold small sections of hair on the end and keep repeating on the same section. Does nothing. Do not waste your money.
