I bought this bag over two years ago, and aside from scratches in the leather that were preventable and due to my not paying attention to what I was doing, it looks the same as when I bought it. The leather is soft and clearly quality. The bag is well-stitched and feels like it will hold up for a long time. The most telling indicator for me--as weird as it may sound--are the clips that attach the shoulder strap to the rings at both ends of the bag; they're thick with a durable spring, not the skinny metal pieces of gym-bag junk you find on almost all bags these days.It is priced well below an equivalent brand-name bag, yet sacrifices nothing in terms of quality. One of the better purchases I've made on Amazon. Well worth it.I got this piece without all the little pockets as I did not see a need for them. The item is as well made as I expected for something costing as much as it did. I do expect this bag to last me for a very long time with a little care. My only criticism is that it does not seem quite as large as I expected with the provided dimensions, but that is probably my fault. I will not get out my tape measure to see if it is as large as advertised.I am a huge fan of Piel products having bought a number of various items over the years. The duffle bag was constructed of the same, beautiful leather I expected. However, the side pockets do not close nor maintain their shape when carried. Within several months, the rivets corroded and I am concerned that they may corrode all the way through eventually.The bag is great. The quality is better than I expected. I've already used it for a weekend trip and it exceeded my expectations.It's a perfect size for carry-on with the airlines. The inside is very roomy and the external zipped compartments very handy. I had chosen the black bag, but was notified it was out of stock, so I agreed to the tan bag. I'm actually glad I made the change. It looks great.Great bag, soft leather and plenty of storage for a carry one, but not too big for the overhead bins.I bought this on sale on Amazon. The leather is lovely and a very appealing color. The bag looks sharp, is sized right for carry-on, and is easy to carry and stow. I think it will age well as the leather acquires a patina. Very happy with purchase.As advertised. Supple leather, good travel bag.Well smaller and cheaper leather than I wanted so I returned.
